Johns Hopkins All Childrens doctors, nurses, therapists and staff work in the Outpatient Care Center, bringing some of our most frequently needed pediatric medical services to a convenient location serving numerous surrounding communities.

Position Summary: The Sonographer III demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in the management of diagnostic testing. Demonstrates focused critical thinking, integrates multi-system implications and provides anticipatory observation and management for predictable events. Demonstrates interdisciplinary collaboration and an outcome-oriented approach to care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved diagnostic medical sonography program with a minimum of five years experience; additional clinical experience or credentials may be considered in lieu of some education.
• Specialty registry through ARDMS or CCI
• 5+ years of experience as a Sonographer. Perinatal Sonography experience is required.
• Dual registries preferred (ex. Fetal Echo, Pediatric Echocardiography, Nuchal Translucency, Advanced Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Adult Echo)
• Current BLS certification, AHA
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Shift: Full-Time, Day Shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00PM. No weekend or holiday work.

This position is located 50% of the time in Bradenton, FL at the Manatee County Rural Health Clinic 50% in North Port, FL at Johns Hopkins All Children's Outpatient Care Center. Both locations are approximately 50 miles apart from each other. Applicant must be able to travel between both sites. Any travel outside of home base will be compensated for time and mileage.

Salary Range: Minimum 36.52 per hour - Maximum 58.44 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
