Location SD, Rapid City Specialty Internal Medicine - Hospitalist Visas Accepted N/A Practice Details Black Hills Surgical Hospital is seeking BE/BC Internal Medicine trained Hospitalist to the practice in Rapid City, SD. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm Patient Care: o Diagnosing, treating, and providing continuous care to inpatients. o Optimize patients in our pre-surgical History and Physical Clinic. Care Coordination: Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and specialists, to ensure a comprehensive plan of care. Medical Procedures: Ordering and interpreting tests, such as lab work and x-rays, and performing medical procedures. Medication Management: Prescribing and managing medications for inpatients. Communication: Communicating with patients and their families about their care and condition. Discharge Planning: Coordinating discharge planning and ensuring a safe transition for patients returning home.
