Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York.
Job Description Requirements

Location: Watertown, NY
Facility Size: 168 beds (4 units)
Assignment Duration: 13 or 26 weeks
Start Date: ASAP or July
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12-hour nights)
Schedule Requirements: Weekends, holidays, and on-call (30-minute response time)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Distance Requirement: Must reside 60+ miles from facility (radius rule)

- Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Licensure: Active NYS RN license (or eligible for NY licensure)
- Certifications:
- BLS - Required (or within 3 months of hire)
- ACLS - Preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of medical/surgical experience preferred
- OR RN experience preferred; those without recent OR experience must complete and pass the AORN Perioperative 101 Program within 6 months (final exam mandatory for employment)
- Preceptorship, charge, and leadership experience preferred
- Skills:
- Ability to assess and provide comprehensive patient care (clinical, teaching, mental, spiritual)
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and delegation abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and OR/ASU clinical equipment
- Ability to interpret lethal dysrhythmias
