Medical Solutions is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in South Charleston, West Virginia.

Radiation badge: Required to be provided to traveler by agency; facility will not provide. Cost Center 764 JOB SUMMARYPerforms duties to accurately apply ionizing radiation to patients of all age groups from pediatric through geriatric in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the radiation oncologist.General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLSCerts/ARRT other specialty certification-requirements- ARRT/ W Virginia state LicenseHow many scanners/rooms does this department have? 1 Truebeam treatment and 1 Siemens CT SimulatorWill they have to float/cover any other areas? NoCommon types of imaging/studies performed Job Duties Radiation therapy, Simulations, BlocksExperience or Must have skills -Radiation TherapyAverage # of scans/studies per day- 17-20EMR /or PACS (Picture Archive Communication System: software hardware) do they use- Aria/PACS/MeditechDepartment Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) Truebeam, SiemensRadiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Erin JacksonDo they use RRAs (Registered Radiology Assistants)? NoRadiologist in-house? YesDo they have to start IVs? (if applicable to the department) No, the RN does thatShifts Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?)
