Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

HIGHLIGHTS:
- Minimum Experience: 2+ years experience required- firm on this
- Stepdown/ Intermediate/PCU experience REQUIRED
- ICU experience, preferred
- Trauma Level II preferred
- Ventilator/Trach experience required
- At least 1 prior travel experience REQUIRED
- Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS
- Float Requirements: AWH all inpatient units, as needed. Typically will float to higher acuity units
- Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday
- Shift Requirements: 12 hour NOCS 700p-730a
- Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hrs
- Charting Experience: EPIC preferred
- Radius Rule: Contractors must be outside a 50 mile radius of Aspirus Wausau - expires 9/5
- REQUIRED EDUCATION: Associate Degree or Certificate
- PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Patient Ratio: 4:1
- Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
- Travelers can be put on call during the 36 hours of unbillable low census. If called back in, they will have call back pay
- GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation
- Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed

- Stable, weaning Vents/Trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, Ortho Trauma, spinal cord injury and Stroke
- Primary Patients/Insulin Drips
- Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely- fast past unit
- Scrub Colors: any color
- HOLIDAY ROTATION REQUIREMENTS: every other holiday
- SHIFT NOTES: 12hr nights
- BEDS: 22
