Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Description:

We are actively seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care for individuals during their obstetric experience. You will be expected to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans for assigned patients, utilizing your expertise in clinical skills and scientific knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient assessments with age-specific criteria to formulate personalized care plans.
- Implement and oversee patient care processes throughout the labor and delivery phases.
- Collaborate with non-RN staff, including LPNs, PCTs, and unit secretaries, to ensure effective patient care delivery.
- Function as a first assist and scrub for OB procedures.
- Maintain compliance with health system standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of obstetric nursing experience.
- Completed at least 1 travel assignment in a clinical setting.
- Active certifications required:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- ORALSO Certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- STABLE Certification
- Fetal Monitoring Certification
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to flexible work schedules, including varied 12-hour shifts.

Additional Information:

- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.
- Weekend commitments: Every 3rd weekend.
- Contract duration: 91 weeks.
