Must have: Labor and Delivery experience, high risk experience preferredAdvanced skills needed: Cesarean Sections, Inductions, Bariatric patients, other high-risk conditionsEpic experience REQUIREDUnit Specifics:Number of Beds : 2,000+ deliveries each year, predominantly high risk population. 11 Labor Rooms plus 3 swing and 4 bed triage/3 Operating RoomsHigh-risk antepartum unit consisting of 14 beds. RNs will be assigned to either high risk antepartum or LD, depending on unit need.Unit staffing description- All RN staff with unit secretary and OR surgical techs. OB Anesthesia designated Center of Excellence. Attending and OB resident staff. Type of equipment :Documentation system: Soarian and Centricity PerinatalScheduling requirements: 12 hour shiftsFloating policy: to areas with competency. AMC has an internal float team that assists in filling holesPatient Experience requirements: LD nurses will be floating to high risk antepartum as wellProcedures performed on unit: NSTs, Cerclage, triage, recovery after C-sectionHospital Specifics-Certifications: Academic Medical Center, Level 1 trauma center (adult); Childrens Hospital within a hospital. 60 bed Level IV NICU
