Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Specialty

Shift: AM, 12 hours

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with a cardiac specialty to join our healthcare team. As an RN, you will assess, implement, and evaluate the care of assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. You will utilize your knowledge of nursing principles, theories, and methodologies to provide exceptional patient care.

In your role, you will employ the nursing process to collaborate with patients, their families, professional peers, and other healthcare team members to individualize care plans. Additionally, you will oversee nursing support staff to ensure that patient care meets the highest standards of practice according to established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Implement nursing interventions and evaluate their effectiveness in meeting patient needs.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
- Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care.
- Maintain compliance with administrative and departmental policies and nursing standards.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required).
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (Preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical specialty, particularly in cardiac care (Preferred).
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License (RN-LIC) (Required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required).
