Job Title: Surgical Nurse - Cardiac, Neuro, Thoracic, Ortho, Vascular Experience Required

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Nurse with strong expertise in cardiac, neurological, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring optimal patient outcomes before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care to patients undergoing surgical procedures across various specialties, including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in patient status during surgical interventions.
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams in operating rooms, ensuring a sterile environment and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individual care plans for patients.
- Document and maintain accurate medical records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Participate in unit meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Must have strong experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular nursing.
- Current nursing license in the relevant state.
- Minimum years of relevant nursing experience required (specific years may be determined by the hiring facility).
- Previous experience in a surgical environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to float to different units as required.
