We are seeking an MRI Technologist for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? The MRI Technologist performs routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies. The MRI Tech presents images and patient information/history to the Radiologist so that a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physician.

Schedule: Sunday-Tuesday, 9:00am-9:30pm

What you will do in this role:

• You will compassionately assist and position patients.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release patients with proper post procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited school or college with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) registered.
• ARRT MR preferred upon hire or must become registry eligible for ARRT MR within 1 year of hire and must complete registry within the 6 months following.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• 2-3 years MRI experience preferred.
• On Call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within one hour of call back.

We have an Accredited Stroke and Chest Pain Center. Our hospital is a premier area destination for Womens Childrens healthcare services. We offer the regions only Maternal Fetal Health Center to care for critically ill mothers and their babies. Our hospital has an antepartum unit, a labor and delivery unit, and a Level III NICU. We have four emergency rooms, including a dedicated Pediatric emergency room and two freestanding ERs located in Olathe and Shawnee. Each year our colleagues treat over 45,000 patients.
