Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This vital role involves providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced and challenging environment. The Emergency Department is equipped with 32 beds and utilizes critical care equipment, ensuring that you have the tools necessary to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients from birth to end of life in the Emergency Department.
- Manage critical cases, including trauma, strokes, STEMIs, and other emergencies.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear information and support.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Implement and adhere to emergency protocols and procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EHR.

Qualifications:
- Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency setting.
- Required certifications: ACLS, PALS or ENPC, NIHSS.
- Strong critical thinking and patient experience skills.
- Ability to work diligently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a high acuity emergency department.
- Familiarity with common diagnoses and treatments in an emergency setting.

- Energetic, knowledgeable, and adaptable to changing circumstances.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with patients and families.

Dress Code:
Scrubs (any color acceptable, inappropriate attire such as hoodies and offensive t-shirts are not allowed).
