Position Summary

Swain County Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitative care team. This role focuses on delivering individualized therapy services to patients of all ages recovering from orthopedic procedures, neurological conditions, injuries, and chronic illnesses. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient mobility, function, and range of motion
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans and goals
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities
• Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques and home care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab team members
• Promote patient safety and adhere to hospital and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• ? Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Masters degree from an accredited program
• Active Physical Therapist license in North Carolina
• ? Preferred 1+ year of experience in acute care, outpatient rehab, or inpatient settings
• Strong clinical reasoning, interpersonal, and organizational skills
