Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Bloomington, Indiana.

Estimated pay package based on bill rate at time job was posted. Bill rates can change frequently and without notice. Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours, distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers.
Travel Medsurg/Short Say Observation Unit RN is needed to start ASAP in a Hospital in Indiana for a 13 week assignment. Shifts consist of 7am-7pm and every 3rd weekend. OT is offered, but not guaranteed. Utilize self-scheduling. Schedules out 6 week. Holidays are worked into a rotation with the perm staff. There are 2 Medsurg units 2 South and 3 North. Travelers will be expected to float between both Medsurg units if needed. Certifications required - BLS. 2 years of experience in specialty is required. Number of Beds - 16. Ratios are 1:4-5. Medication system is Accudose. EMR is Cerner. Charge Nurse - Yes and they take a light patient load. Unit Orientation - 1 day classroom. 2 days on the floor. Nurse Aides: Yes 2 days, 1 nights. Secretary 7am - 11pm. Scrub Color - Red top and black pants with all black shoes. Red tops are embroidered and must be purchased from the hospital, but can borrow until then. Telemetry - RNs are not expected to read strips. Vents - None. IV Team - Vascular access team for difficult sticks only. RT 24/7 - Yes. Pharmacy 24/7 - Yes. Types of patients - Medical and surgical patients. 12 - 72 hours observation status patients. GYN, abd, ENT, light ortho post-surgical. Medsurg overflow. This is one of the most popular states to travel in with lots of things to do and beautiful scenery. This position wont be open long. Great Benefits and Pay!
