HIGHLIGHTS:
- 13-week assignment
- 12-hour shift / 36 hours per week
- Shift time is 1730-0600
- Must have a current WA License, BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP
- Must be a team player
- Any RTO needs to be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract
- Prefer one year of current acute care experience; but may be a new graduate
- Will maintain BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certification
- Will practice within the scope of practice of a RCP
- Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds from floor to waist
- Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds from wheelchair to bed level
- Ability to lift five (5) pounds over head
- Ability to pull fifty (50) pounds from stretcher to bed
- Ability to push one hundred fifty (150) pound loaded stretcher 300 feet
- Auditory ability to perform procedures and to take accurate blood pressures
- Vision adequate to observe patients and to perform charting procedures
- Ability to meet specific criteria for the Cardiopulmonary department

- Registered Respiratory Therapists are responsible for providing, coordinating, and directing individualized comprehensive respiratory care to all patients based upon assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Accountable to: Cardiopulmonary Director
- In the absence of the Director, is responsible to the Lead RRT
- Once oriented, the RRT is expected to function with a minimum of supervision
