Quality Improvement Specialist

What Youll Do
- Collaborate with local teams to identify areas for improvement and provide hands-on guidance during process changes.
- Review and analyze incident reports, then prepare easy-to-understand summaries for management to drive action.
- Track progress toward quality goals by collecting, organizing, and interpreting key data points.
- Lead engaging training sessions on incident reporting and quality standards for staff across your region.
- Conduct on-site audits, checking documentation and practices to ensure readiness for licensing and certification reviews.
- Investigate incidents or concerns, gathering facts and interviewing staff to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Work closely with operations to implement and monitor new strategies, following up to confirm positive outcomes.
Qualifications
- Must reside in or near the Columbia/Jefferson City, MO area
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least three years of experience in quality improvement or a related social services field.
- Valid drivers license, car registration, and auto insurance.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
