LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) IN FACILITY STAFFING

Location: Longmont, CO.

Field: Long Term Care Facilities

Status: PRN

Shifts available: Days, Evenings, NOC, weekends

As a LPN, heres a big-picture view of what youll do:

Care for patients with a variety of illnesses, injuries and diseases in facilities such as medical offices, assisted living facilities, hospitals and schools-under the supervision of providers.
Work with a team of physicians, nurses, CNAs and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
Take patient vitals, do assessments, document progress and report changes to providers.
Assist in carrying out physicians orders, patient care and prescribed treatments.
Administer medication, operate medical equipment and maintain a safe environment.

A few must-haves for LPN:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program and an active LPN license in Colorado.
CPR certification (demonstration course required).
For LPN: 6 months of work experience as an LPN or CNA.
Valid TB screening.
COVID-19 vaccination card.
Proof of flu vaccination, during Flu season in the months of October-March.
Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communicator and compassionate.
