Job Summary and Qualifications

SurgicalTechnologist (Certified)

The Surgical Techis responsible forpulling cases, scrubbingcasesandassistingphysicianwith surgery.

What you will do in this role:

• You willdemonstrateknowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.

• You will promote customer service initiatives.

• You will function asscrubperson during operative procedures.

• You willdemonstrateabilityto perform technical skills and procedures.

• You willassistin the intra-operative care of the patient by performing technical duties as assigned

• You will deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

What qualifications you will need:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program

• Surgical Technician certificationrequired

• BLS Certification current

• 1 Year of surgery experience preferred in the following areas: General, GYN, Urology, Plastics, and Orthopedics.
