Job Description:

Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the flexibility of a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (7A-7P / 11A-11P) with a commitment of 36 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform a variety of clinical procedures within the scope of practice.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation utilizing the EPIC charting system.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and protocols for patient safety and care.

Shift Information:

- Schedule: 12-hour days (7A-7P / 11A-11P rotation)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend shift per week OR 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Must work at least one holiday per contract

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience required.
- License: Active New York RN license is mandatory.
- Certifications: NIH and AHA BLS certification required.
- Residency: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.

Contract Details:

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 91 contract weeks
