Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Lakeview, Oregon.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile OB/LDRP/MedSurg RN for a small, traveler-friendly critical access hospital. This role will primarily involve caring for MedSurg patients, but candidates must be fully capable of providing complete perinatal and LD care when OB patients are admitted. On average, the facility handles 1 delivery per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide bedside care for MedSurg patients
- Float to and manage labor and delivery cases when needed
- Deliver comprehensive perinatal care, including fetal monitoring and postnatal assessments
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for all patient types
- Document accurately in CPSI (training provided)
Requirements:
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring
- Experience Preferred:
- MedSurg and LD experience required
- Telemetry and pediatric experience preferred (not mandatory)
Additional Information:
- EMR System: CPSI (training provided)
- Floating: Yes, between MedSurg and OB/LD based on patient volume
- Environment: Supportive and traveler-friendly staff in a flexible, team-based setting
- Shift Notes: Primarily nights with some flexibility for day shifts
