• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in various pharmacy practices, in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Utilize pharmacy systems to efficiently obtain patient information and process prescriptions, coaching others when certified.
• Create a memorable and positive customer experience through friendly interactions.

Customer Experience Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients and assist them with products and services, addressing any questions or issues to enhance their experience.
• Demonstrate and promote customer service best practices to the team.
• Build strong relationships with our most valued customers.

Operational Duties:

• Support the practice of pharmacy under the supervision of the pharmacist, ensuring compliance with all policies.
• Process prescriptions accurately by entering details, verifying accuracy, and managing workflow effectively.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to quality improvement protocols.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and assist customers with product location.
• Manage inventory tasks and assist with clinical services when necessary.
• Cultivate relationships with the medical community through outreach efforts.
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Training Development:

• Achieve and maintain your PTCB certification as part of your professional growth.
• Participate in training and continuing education to stay current in healthcare and pharmacy trends.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably with Walgreens.
• Strong math and computer skills to support prescription accuracy.
• Knowledge of inventory control processes.
