LanceSoft is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Albany, Georgia.
Job Description Requirements
- Specialty: MRI Technologist
- Discipline: Allied Health Professional

- Duration: 13 weeks
- 40 hours per week
- Shift: 10 hours, nights
- Employment Type: Travel
Requirements Certifications
- Strict 75-mile radius rule (based on address on drivers license to facility)
- Required: BLS (AHA or ARC), ARRT (MR) Certified MRI Technologist
- Experience: Minimum 1 year MRI experience (okay with first-time traveler)
- Must have Siemens experience; Philips experience preferred
- Travel experience preferred
- Level II trauma experience is a plus (runs similar to Level I)
Department Details
- Scanners: 4 total (agency will staff 2) + mobile unit
- No floating to other areas required
- Common Studies: Musculoskeletal, basic neuro, abdomen/pelvis, radiation oncology, breast imaging
- Will see pacemaker and anesthesia patients, as well as ICU NICU patients
- Average Studies Per Day: ~30 (due to long protocols)
- Equipment: Siemens (current), Philips (coming soon)
- PACS: McKesson or Change Healthcare
- EMR: Meditech 6.1
- Supervision: Full-time supervisor on duty; senior tech scheduled if no lead tech present
- Radiologists in-house during daytime (mostly IR), MRI reads mostly remote
- Must be able to start IVs.
