Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Juneau, Alaska.

Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: 1200 Salmon Creek Lane, Juneau, AK 99801
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift/Schedule: Will be discussion at interview/must be flexible
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- Job Description: -
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop/implement therapy treatment plans for pediatric patients
- Collaborate with providers, nurses, and rehab staff to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Document patient encounters, progress, and plans in compliance with hospital standards
- Educate patients/families on therapy programs, home exercises, and use of adaptive devices
- Participate in clinic operations, quality improvement, and staff education
- Provide therapy services at community sites as needed, including schools and patient homes
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, or Bachelors with 2+ years relevant experience
- Knowledge of pediatric musculoskeletal physiology, therapy techniques, adaptive devices, and relevant regulations (Medicare, Medicaid, insurance billing)
- Strong communication, documentation, and technology skills
- Ability to work cross-culturally and travel to rural/remote areas, sometimes in challenging weather
Requirements: - Active Alaska PT License at time of submission
- Flu vaccination required
- Pediatric experience mandatory
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Valid Drivers License
