A part-time nursing position (LPN or RN) is available at Scotland County Jail, offering flexible scheduling on weekends with a focus on providing patient care. Applicants will engage in delivering nursing services under State regulations, including administering medications and performing critical assessments. Come be a part of our team at: Location: Scotland County Jail Open Position: PT LPN or RN Days Schedule: Every Other Saturday Sunday 6a - 6p Sign-on Retention Bonus Duties include, but are not limited to:

Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s)
Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards correctional regulations
Follow through with established treatment plans
Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
