Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care within a health system that prioritizes its mission, vision, and values. The ideal candidate will utilize their nursing skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients, adhering to age-specific criteria.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patient health conditions and needs.
- Develop and implement effective nursing care plans based on individual patient requirements.
- Utilize scientific knowledge and clinical skills to make judgments about patient care.
- Teach and mentor non-RN staff, including LPNs, Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and Unit Secretaries.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with health system policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (AHA) are mandatory at the time of application.
- NIHSS certification is required.
- Active and valid state nursing license in Ohio.

Additional Information:
- This position requires the ability to work every other weekend.
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
- Contract length: 91 weeks.
