Travel RN Job Summary (Maine)Credentials Requirements:Licensing CertificationsActive Maine RN license or Compact State licenseCertifications (must be current unexpired):BLS (Required)ACLS (Preferred)Immunizations (Required):Varicella - 2 doses or positive titerHepatitis B - 3 doses or titer (declination accepted)MMR - 2 doses or positive titerTdap - Up to datePPD (Tuberculosis) - 2-step or titer within past 12 monthsInfluenza vaccine - Required during flu seasonAgency Requirements:W-9Certificate of Insurance (COI)Workers CompensationLiability Coverage: $1M/$3MDay 1 Instructions:Report to Human Resources for onboarding.Preferred Qualifications:BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)Critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in age-appropriate nursing assessments and interventionsJob Responsibilities:Includes but is not limited to:Initial and ongoing patient assessmentsDevelopment implementation of individualized care plansAccurate documentation of patient careAdministration and evaluation of medicationsPatient/family education and discharge planningParticipation in bedside rounds and multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetingsEnsure safety and proper equipment functionEmergency preparedness and participation in disaster drillsQuality improvement and process optimization effortsFollow-up calls to discharged patients
