Job Description Summary:
This Psychologist functions within the Behavioral Health outpatient team and provides direct services to patients, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other therapy techniques as well as preforms psychological testing/evaluation. The individual in this position provides consultation regarding psychological and behavioral health needs of patients and can also work with patients' family members. The Psychologist will provide psychotherapy to specialized patient population such as those with functional neurological disorders (FND) such as PNES (psychogenic non-epileptic seizures) and FMD (functional movement disorders). The Psychologist may be asked to provide educational presentations (to patient/family groups, psychiatry residents, other clinicians, etc.).Responsibilities And Duties:
