Full-Time Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Summary

The Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or ARRT(N)) is responsible for diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging, patient safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Operate nuclear medicine equipment and related software systems efficiently.
• Ensure accurate positioning and attenuation correction techniques.
• Safely administer radiopharmaceuticals following regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient records.
• Communicate effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Troubleshoot image quality issues and ensure technical accuracy.
• Provide empathy and patience when dealing with anxious or uncooperative patients.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations using quick decision-making skills.
  
  Work Schedule Requirements
• Rotating shifts every other week: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
• Three days of call per year, with no weekend shifts.
• Relocation assistance available.
  
  Compensation Benefits
• $20,000 Sign-on Bonus available.

QualificationsGraduate of an AMA-approved nuclear medicine program (Required).Certification by ARRT(N) or NMTCB (Required).Proficiency in nuclear medicine equipment operation.Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and cross-sectional imaging techniques.
