Job Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

Shift: Thursday - Saturday, 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our dynamic team at a leading Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. In this role, you will perform technical procedures and assist in the clinical evaluation and care of patients within a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for creating diagnostic images and ensuring a safe and positive experience for patients undergoing CT scans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging procedures utilizing CT technology for trauma, emergency, outpatient, inpatient, research, and specialized CT-guided procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the Medical Director, Section Head, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist to ensure quality patient care.
- Uphold and enforce radiation safety protocols and adhere to New York State Department of Health regulations.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to keep abreast of advancements in CT technology.
- Provide support to teaching activities and contribute to the education of peers and students.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School; high school diploma required.
- Licensure/Certification:
- New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or a limited permit to practice in New York.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Experience: Entry-level candidates with limited or no experience are encouraged to apply. Position level will be assigned based on skill set and experience.
