The PRN LPN Nurse position offers flexible part-time opportunities for licensed practical nurses to provide essential patient care, medication administration, and support in a correctional facility setting. Duties include evaluating patient health, executing treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This role emphasizes teamwork, critical thinking, and provides various benefits, including daily pay and professional development.

Come be a part of our team at: Location: Johnson County Detention Center Open Position: PRN LPN Schedule: 2- 12hrs Shifts Duties include, but are not limited to:- Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s)
- Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards correctional regulations
- Follow through with established treatment plans
- Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
