Job Description:

Currently, were hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school in Morris, Illinois. As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist with SHC, youll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as an SLP. Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:

• $50 - $54 an hour
• $3000 assignment bonus for new Supplemental Health Care employees
• Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday.
• Start Date: August 2025
• End Date: May 2026
• Location: In-person
• Details: The caseload early childhood and high school split between two schools in Morris, IL with approximately 34 students. The school bell times are 7:45am-3:15pm.
• SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
• SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
• Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student
• May be asked to supervise assistants

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Speech-language Pathology
• Must have a Professional Educator License (PEL) from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
• Illinois SLP IDFPR license
• American Heart Association BLS
• School Experience is Preferred but not required
• ASHA Certification
