Ultrasound Technologist

As part of our team, you will work alongside a dedicated group of professionals truly making a difference in the health and lives of the people in West Florida. We are currently seeking an Ultrasound Technologist on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. If you share our passion and vision, we invite you to apply now!

Your tasks and responsibilities as a Sonographer include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner
• Perform sonogram examinations in accordance accurately and in a timely manner
• Responsible for imagining, recording and processing ultrasound images
• Obtain and document complete patient history as it relates to the procedure ordered and informed consent
• Maintain statistical results for quality improvement

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RDMS OB/GYN Specialty, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT), or RDMS Abdomen Specialty must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
