Job Title: Sonographer - Vascular

Shift: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer with expertise in vascular ultrasound to join our esteemed healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality ultrasound imaging services, focusing on both general and specialized vascular studies within an IAC-accredited Non-Invasive Vascular Lab. The selected sonographer will play a crucial role in delivering accurate diagnostic results that contribute to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform independent vascular ultrasound studies, including:
- Upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex studies
- Carotid duplex studies
- Bypass graft, mesenteric artery, and renal artery duplex studies
- Upper and lower extremity vein mapping duplex studies
- Fistula flow and venous reflux studies
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings and weekends to ensure 24/7 coverage.
- Occasionally provide ultrasound services at additional facilities, including outpatient clinics and outreach centers.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss findings and integrate imaging results into patient management.
- Maintain a high level of competency and proficiency across the full range of vascular and general ultrasound studies.

Requirements:
- ARDMS certification is required.
- Preferred certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
- Strong skills and experience in performing vascular ultrasound studies, particularly those listed above.
- Demonstrated experience in interventional radiology is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Competency Assessment:
Candidates must provide competency scores and detailed experience in predefined ultrasound studies to demonstrate alignment with department standards.
