1. Support Putnam Hospitals hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities.
2. Under the general direction of the Operations Manager, Medical Imaging, performs diagnostic C.T. examinations to ensure a quality examination.
3. Under the general direction of the Operations Manager, Medical Imaging, perform routine radiologic diagnostic exams to ensure quality images.
4. Identifies each patient and review patients chart and previous imaging exams for consistency (exam ordered/clinical diagnosis), and records pertinent data on the patients requisition.
5. Assess patient condition and ensure patient safety through proper use of immobilization and support devices.
6. Consistently deliver the best in customer service and patient care. As a team member, demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with patients, families, visitors and other employees.
7. Always verifies physician orders prior to completing examination.
8. Perform routine radiography according to the procedure manual allowing for any special instructions from the Radiologist or patients physician.

What qualifications you will need:

• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
• Graduate of Radiology Technology program
• Registered ARRT (R) required; (CT) preferred
• Minimum one year hospital experience
• BLS to be renewed bi-annually
