Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a local contract nurse RN Long Term Acute Care for a local contract nursing job in St. Louis, Missouri.
Job Description Requirements
- Specialty: Long Term Acute Care
- Discipline: RN
- Start Date: 09/01/2025
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, flexible
- Employment Type: Local Contract
HIGHLIGHTS:
- BLS certification required prior to first shift
- ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY)
- Minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience (Highly desired)
- Must assume charge responsibility following orientation period as requested
- 16-26 Week Assignment

- The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed
- The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees

- Communicates all pertinent information regarding patient status changes
- Provides direction, training and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel
- Ensures personal and environmental safety
- Contributes to positive unit functioning
- Maintains communication with manager regarding service needs
- Provides cost-effective care while promoting quality outcomes
- Must pursue professional development through continuing education
- Must prioritize activities and plan for effective use of time and staff
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:Must complete nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admissionMust provide patient information and status for Initial Team Conference and Re-evaluation Team Conferences weekly
