Assess, plan, evaluate, coordinate, and provide quality-nursing care to the patients in the Department of Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures. Skills utilized in this job include: monitoring, recording, and analyzing physiologic data during diagnostic, therapeutic. Biopsy, and interventional procedures; teaching; providing nursing assessment, care and interventions to all patients undergoing any interventional radiology procedures; and functioning as a circulating nurse.

To provide proficient, age specific, direct and indirect patient care in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with legal, Hospital practice and departmental policies and procedures, established standards of nursing care and practice, and as defined by the State of Florida. Communicates with physicians about changes in patients clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• 1 year acute care experience in IR, ICU, CVICU, CATH Lab
