General Summary of Position

This position is offering a limited-time $10,000 dollar sign on bonus.

This is a full-time position and the schedule is TBD.

Medstar Health is looking for Diagnostic Technologistto join our team!We are looking for registered Radiology Technologist with excellent communication skills.

The Diagnostic Technologist will make a difference on our team by performing diagnostic medical radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures through interpretation.

rimary Duties:

  • Acquires ordered images including evaluating these images for technical quality. Sends images to appropriate destinations for interpretation.

  • Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Reports any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions. Maintains X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order. Performs preventative maintenance regularly.

  • Obtains patient history, answers patient questions, and explains proceduresTransports patients to radiographic room and prepares and maintains room.

  • Performs radiographic examinations. Prepareswritten documentation such as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, and progress reports.

  • Requests and orders supplies

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the State of Maryland.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS).

  • Associate degree preferred.

This position has a hiring range of $29.73 - $48.63
