Job Description: Medical-Surgical, IMCU, ED, OR, Maternity RN

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team with a focus on Medical-Surgical, IMCU, Emergency Department (ED), Operating Room (OR), and Maternity care. This position is critical for delivering high-quality patient care across various units while maintaining a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Position Details:
- Shift: 12-Hour Night Shift (11 PM - 11 AM, or 3 PM - 11 PM)
- Contract Duration: 28 Weeks
- Minimum Clinical Experience Required: 3-5 years with supervisory experience in a hospital setting
- Patient Care Modality: Primary nursing
- Education Required: Current NYS RN Licensure; AHA BLS ACLS certifications are mandatory
- Experience in Epic Documentation System: Required within the past two years
- Floating Required: Yes, you will rotate between Medical-Surgical, IMCU, ED and other departments as necessary

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Apply advanced nursing skills including starting IVs, performing EKGs, and weaning from high flow oxygen
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records

Patient Population:
- Diverse age range: 0 - 100 years; experience with critical and acute care populations is preferred

Additional Requirements:
- Experience in IMCU care is essential
- Must be adaptable and able to float to various units, such as Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department
- Must be prepared to work every other weekend with holiday requirements

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with specific medical equipment and technology applicable to the nursing units
- Ability to manage ventilators, with respiratory support available 24/7
- Proficiency in various nursing protocols and unit-specific procedures
