Job Title: Medical/Surgical RN - Nights

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work a 12-hour night shift rotation (7 PM to 7 AM) with the flexibility to rotate to day shifts as needed. This role also involves working 36 hours per week with one to two weekend shifts required every other week.

Unit Information:
- Specialty: Medical/Surgical, Colorectal Bariatrics
- Shift: Nights - 12HR (7 PM - 7 AM / 7 AM - 7 PM rotation)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Charting: EPIC

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with various medical and surgical conditions.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patients conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with facility policies.

Required Experience:
- 1 year of recent experience in acute Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
- 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates.

Preferred Experience:
- 2 years of recent experience in acute Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing.

Licenses and Certifications:
- Active New York RN License.
- NIH Stroke Certification.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Additional Information:
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to the facilitys needs, including potential block booking (not guaranteed).
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.
