ARMStaffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Richmond, Virginia.

Job Description: CT Technologist
Shift: 07:00-19:00
Location: Richmond, VA
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 2 scanners (GE and Phillips)
- Number of Staff: Currently 7 Full-Time (FT), 3 PRN
- Shifts:
- Day Shift: 3
- Evening Shift: 2
- Night Shift: 1
- Weekend Shift: 2 (12-hour shifts)
- Patient Ratios: 80-100 scans per day
- Type of Equipment: GE Phillips
- EMR: Meditech/ GE Centricity PACS
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans and related procedures on patients, ensuring high-quality imaging and adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare patients for scanning procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain equipment and assist in quality control measures.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Current ARRT-CT certification.
- Valid Virginia State License.
- Recent CT experience; candidates without these skills will not be considered.
- Preferred:
- Experience with GE or Phillips equipment.

- ABD/PEL biopsies
- Head scans
- Spine scans
- Brain scans
- Chest CTAs
