This position is a PRN for Outpatients clinics in Northern Colorado.

Location: UCHealth Pain Management Centerra - Loveland, CO

Pay: $38.72 - $58.08 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicants relevant experience

Summary:

Evaluates and treats patient populations for therapy needs.

Responsibilities:

Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patients condition.

Establishes a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family according to their capabilities and desires.

Provides education to the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits and information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.

Performs all underlying duties of the job including but not limited to supervising support personnel according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Minimum Required Education: Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy required. Preferred: Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• 
  Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Physical Therapist. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
  
  Minimum Experience: None required.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
