Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Details:
We deliver 3500 babies in this state of the art facility. We request that your clinical team interview your talent before presenting the talent to our posting.L D Nurses will float to postpartum. Unit Description: 14 Bed Unit, with 2 triage beds, 4 recovery bays, 3 ORs, and 3 Labor tubsWill work across Antepartum, LD, Circulate in the OR for C-sections, Triage eventually after education and testing (QMP)1:2 ratio labor (glucostabilizer, mag, pit are 1:1)1:3 antepartum1:2-3 in triage based on acuity (walk ins, direct admits from MD offices, ED)1:1 in OR as a circulator300 deliveries per month; 3700 deliveries per yearLaborists and anesthesia 24/7. Do not have midwives. Do have family/medicine residents who will see triage patients if needed. In process of getting bylaws in place to get midwives. Postpartum - 27 beds 1:7 ratio - babies not in room (Not mother baby). Babies stay in room often during day, but night time send to nursery. If a mom chooses to keep baby in room, we make sure that happens. 1:3 for mother baby couplet care if need to (moms choice).
