Job Title: Travel CT Scan Technologist

Shift: Weekend Nights (8:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Friday to Sunday) with an additional shift from 2:30 PM to 11 PM on Thursday

Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel CT Scan Technologist to join our team. This role requires an experienced professional who will provide timely and accurate diagnostic services for both inpatient and outpatient settings under the direction of a Radiologist. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in CT imaging and will be proficient in operating various CT equipment, including GE 16 slice Brightspeed and GE 64 slice VCT.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures for various anatomical regions, including head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities.
- Execute venipuncture for IV contrast administration as ordered by the physician.
- Operate power injectors and administer IV contrast according to established protocols.
- Conduct 3-D reformats on scanner/workstation.
- Collaborate effectively with radiology staff and physicians to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain knowledge of CT system processing, surgical procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy.
- Ensure compliance with departmental protocols and safety standards in providing imaging services.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences.
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Current ARRT certification in CT and BLS/CPR certification required.
- State licensure as a general radiographer is mandatory.
- Proficient in various CT scanning procedures and techniques.

Additional Details:
- No guarantees for 48-hour response times.
- The position is a contractor replacement, with one opening available.
