Surgical Technologist - Operating Room (OR)
If you are a detail-oriented professional passionate about supporting surgical teams, join us as a Surgical Technologist. In this role, you will play an integral part in ensuring successful surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms and assisting surgeons during operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sterilize surgical instruments and prepare operating rooms for procedures.
- Ensure that all necessary supplies are available and properly organized for surgeries.
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments or holding retractors as needed.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout the procedure to prevent infections.
- Prepare patients for surgery by positioning them appropriately on the operating table and applying sterile drapes.
- Monitor equipment functionality and report any issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
Work Environment:
- The role is primarily based in hospital operating rooms or outpatient surgical centers.
- Surgical technologists spend long hours on their feet in high-pressure environments requiring focus and precision.
