Position Overview
Harris Regional Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you'll provide high-quality therapeutic care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, helping them improve mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients to develop personalized treatment plans and goals
- Deliver therapeutic interventions including exercise, manual therapy, and modalities
- Document patient progress, reassessments, and discharge plans
- Educate patients and families on recovery strategies and home exercises
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals
- Ensure safety and compliance with infection control and rehabilitation standards
Qualifications
- eth;#159;#142; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program
- eth;#159;#131; Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in North Carolina
- eth;#159;#149;deg; Preferred 1+ year experience in acute care, outpatient, or inpatient rehab
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to motivate patients and foster a positive healing environment
