For more than 140 years, weve carried out Christs healing ministry as St. Anthonys Medical Center, delivering compassionate care to area residents. Today, as Mercy Hospital South, we continue that legacy. Mercy Hospital South is the third-largest medical center in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Our team offers advanced medical treatment in several specialties, including acute rehabilitation, cardiology, maternity services, oncology/cancer care, orthopedics, neurology/stroke, surgery and emergency medicine.

Qualifications:

Education:

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.

Licensure:

Personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining a current LPN license within the state of Missouri and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.

Physical Requirements/Demands:

Stand/Walk most of the time on duty; significant amount of bending and stooping, as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance; push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds

Certifications:

Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire

LPN-IV Certification must be previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire
