Our History

Harrison's Hope began serving patients in 2006 at a time when most hospices in Treasure Valley were affiliated with home health companies and there were few stand-alone hospices. Harrison's Hope was founded on the belief that hospice was about more than just the medical aspect of relieving pain, it was just as much about being there emotionally for patients and families.

Our Medical Director has been an important part of our care and service since the day he joined our team over 10 years ago. He wanted to get away from his clinic practice where he was only able to spend 15 minutes with each patient. When he joined the Harrison's Hope team, he was able to talk with each patient and their family at length in order to determine their physical and emotional needs.

In 2019, Harrison's Hope joined the ADDUS HomeCare family. The team was excited to have the support of a corporate office who could help with billing and compliance and had many years of expertise. ADDUS provided the operational resources Harrison's Hope needed to continue serving its patients.

ADDUS HomeCare is a leading provider of comprehensive home care and support services. Our core objective is providing great care for the elderly, disabled and chronically ill, especially those who are facing a life-limiting illness and has a prognosis of 6-months or less. In addition ADDUS focuses on those who are at risk of hospitalization or institutionalization.
