BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. (BAYADA) would like to remind our clients, employees, the media, and the general public that BAYADA is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public charity and as such, BAYADA does not support or oppose any political candidate or political party. BAYADA is a member of a number of home health care industry organizations that conduct helpful activities to promote access to high-quality home health care which have nothing to do with partisan politics. However, if those other organizations are not charitable organizations, they may have the legal right to also engage in partisan political activity. BAYADA does not participate in those other organizations’ partisan activity, prohibits use of its membership dues to be used for partisan purposes, and does not sign onto any candidate endorsements put out by those other organizations.
In 1975, 27-year-old Mark Baiada invested his life savings of $16,000 in a belief that people deserve a safe home life with comfort, independence, and dignity. He sought compassionate care professionals who shared his passion and treated them like family, and they, in turn, treated their clients like family. Today, more than 26,000 like-hearted employees call upon their natural sense of caring, commitment to purpose, and personal responsibility to help our clients and each other flourish.
