DTI/X-ray Technologist

<p><strong>The pay range for this position is $29.92-$46.72.</strong></p><p>RAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging, is looking for a DTI Technologist to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. As a DTI Technologist and under the direction of the Chief Technologist, you will assure that services are provided to patients and referring specialists within professional standards. You will also maintain positive work relationships with radiologists and other physicians referring to the company. This is a per-diem position and will be scheduled to cover time off and is located at our Federal Way, WA clinic. </p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: </strong></p><p>(85%) Patient Imaging</p><ul><li>Performs routine and advanced DTI procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats</li><li>Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination</li><li>Explains and prepares patients for DTI procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned and providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure</li><li>Adjusts equipment as necessary</li><li>Maintains positive attitude and working relationships with radiologist, referring customers and other associates and peers</li><li>Converses with doctors, nurses, patients and family members as required</li><li>Follows physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations to protect themselves, their patients, and coworkers</li><li>Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)</li><li>Maintains an orderly and clean work area to promote good safety habits for patients and co-workers</li><li>Maintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects equipment after each use</li></ul><p>(10%) Imaging Support</p><ul><li>Assists in maintaining an updated radiographic protocol manual and software upgrades</li><li>Monitors medical supply inventory</li><li>Assists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise</li></ul><p>(5%) Performs other duties as assigned</p>
