Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro - TELE
Job Summary: The RN Neuro - Telemetry provides care to patients with neurological conditions requiring continuous monitoring. Responsibilities include assessing patient status, administering treatments, and using telemetry equipment to track neurological and cardiac indicators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor neurological and cardiac status using telemetry systems.
- Administer medications and therapies for neurological conditions.
- Collaborate with neurologists and other specialists to create care plans.
- Educate patients on stroke prevention, seizure management, and other neuro conditions.
- Record patient progress and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Ensure proper functioning of telemetry equipment and address any technical issues.
Work Environment:
- Hospital telemetry units focusing on neurological patient populations.
